On Tuesday, 23 March, Khoroni in Thohyandou donated a total of 400 sanitary towels, to the value of R7500 to Thohoyandou Place of Safety and Tsiamutsha Drop-in-Centre.
Thohoyandou Place of Safety caters for children between the ages of 1 year and 18 years who has been placed in their care by social workers and the department of health and social services. Tsiamutsha Drop-in-Centre is a NPO that assist an average of eighty orphans in the community with food, clothes and give homework support services.
This is an ongoing project and drive to donate as many sanitary towels as possible to disadvantaged communities.
